I am so very sorry about your son. I went on the Beach Center Website to get your contact info and saw the announcement. He was such a lovely young man on the videos you shared with us. He was an inspiration for not only for the Beach Center but to so many families who looked to him as an example of what is possible with supports.
It may not be the best time to ask, but then again, maybe there is some value in this. I was wondering if you would be willing to speak on May 29th at our PA Autism Training Conference on family issues? We missed you last year because you were completing your grant renewal for The Beach Center and I was hoping to catch you this year. Please feel free to tell me no, or that you want to think about it, but I would love to have you speak and share your family experience.
