Dear Rud-
I just learned of the passing of your son, Jay. Rud, I am so sorry my friend and sent this condolence note to you and Ann. There should be a law prohibiting the death of a child before that of his parents; I've learned over the years the truth of the Irish proverb - "Sooner or later life will break your heart." I do hope that a loving family, warm friends, and wonderful memories of Jay, will provide you and Ann some limited solace and comfort at such a trying time. And I wanted you to know that I am thinking of you these days, and offering a prayer in Jay's memory. I hope our paths will cross again soon.
