Dear Ann and Rud,
I can only imagine the pain of losing Jay so suddenly. I hope that you gain comfort from his amazing legacy - both for your family and so many others. What Jay accomplished represents what so many others strive to acheive: active involvement in one's community with the greatest possible independence.
You were the most devoted and dedicated parents any child could ever hope to have - Jay was a lucky man to have you by his side for his amazing journey.
I am confident that you will fashion a life for yourselves that honors his memory and allows his achievements to encourage others. His loss will never be replaced, but Jay's spirit lives on among all of us who share his dreams.
