My name is Stephanie Welter-Magnuson and I was friends with Kate in grade school and Jr High. I wanted to send my prayers to the Turnbull family. I am so sorry to hear about Jay's passing. I have incredibly fond memories of Jay growing up. He was such an inspiration and I have always carried his determination and heart with me. I can remember how proud you all were of him when he moved into his own apartment. I can also recall how proud Kate and Amy were to call him their big brother! You are an amazing family and my prayers are with you during this time. Thank you for teaching me so many lessons of life just by allowing me to be around your family so many years ago. I have always and will continue to carry the lessons Jay taught me!
