Laura and Tom told me about Jay's passing on the day.....devastating news. Jay had the ability to bring people together and I am grateful that his final gift to me was to hear from so many friends over the last few days. I had a long conversation with Hasheem today and I heard from Laura, Tom, Pattie Noonan, and Mary Morningstar just in the last few days. JT is the perfect example of how the impact of our lives has little to do with accepted notions of ability.
