From Suk-Hyang, Korea

Dear Jay,

Even though I had been in the U.S for about five years, there are a lot of things that I don’t know yet. I don’t know how I can write a message of condolence.
This is why I am writing a letter to you with thinking of you and precious memories about you. As I mentioned before, there are a lot of things that I want to say to you “Thank you.”

Thank you for being my Tuesday lunch partner. Thanks to you, I was able to visit many restaurants that I didn’t visit before. Thank you for teaching me direction to the new places for our lunch. You were a very kind gentle man. Thank you for remembering where I came from. Thank you for giving me a chance to listen to your Beatles’ song, “Let it be.” Also, thank you for preparing my birthday party.

Besides me, I believe that there are a lot of Beachers who want to express heartfelt gratitude to you for what you have done for us. Thank you for giving us a chance to deliver our heart to other colleagues on their birthday through your card. Thank you for delivering mail to us too. Most of all, thank you for brightening Beach Center with your simile and laughter. Even though you might not know, you also gave hope to Korean family whose children have disabilities. Whenever Korean parents of children with disabilities worried about future lives of their children, I introduce you and your life as a positive example.

Jay, even though I still cannot believe that you are not here, I believe that you are at Heaven with God now, who loves you more than as we love you. I believe that you will brighten there as you did here. Thank you for giving us hope to see you again at Heaven someday.

Thanks again for everything that you taught us through your life.
We will miss you a lot.

Deepjoy
Suk-Hyang from Korea
