from Alice-Ann

Dear Ann and Rud,

What can I possibly say except how very sorry I was to hear of Jay's passing. I understand the memorial service was beautiful, and that Kate is indeed her parents' daughter - so poised and articulate. I so wish I could have been there to celebrate JT's life. He has certainly been such an inspiration to so many people, including scores of music thereapy students and therapists. I grieve for all the students who will never know JT.He was such a shining example of the power of music.

This is the semester I show music thereapy and Family Quality of Life to my class. It will be difficult to watch knowing JT is not longer with us, but I know his story will continue to  inspire my students, as it has every student who has watched that tape. What a gift!

Please know that JT had a wonderful life and family. He was blessed, as we all were, for 41 years. His memories will stay with us all for the rest of our lives.

I love you and am thinking of you !
Alice-Ann
