Dear Ann and Rud,
Upon my return from out-of-town, I read of Jay's death and am so very sorry for your loss. He was a beautiful young man and he was so fortunate to live his life with you as his parents. You taught him so well that life is full of friendships and love, and that one can succeed in spite of misfortunes.
A Shoshone medicine man asked, " If the dead be truly dead, why should they still be walking in my heart?"
