Dear Ann and Rud,
The fact that there are, as you said, no words for the nature of what transpired last weekend makes me feel so blessed to have witnessed it all. It was such an incredible tribute to JT and to the boundless love that your whole family has spread throughout your community. I never got to meet JT but I he undoubtedly touched my life and made me a better person simply by occupying such a huge place in Kate's heart and in yours and shaping you all into the compassionate, supportive, loving people that you are. I am sending all that love and gratitude right back at you! I'm glad to hear that you are going to (try to) take some quiet time. Please know that you are constantly in my thoughts.I promise to always take good care of Kate.
