Rud and Ann,

I am reading once again the words that Ann so eloquently wrote and then spoke at Emily and Eric's wedding last year. With a tear in my eye I'm repeating this line that you wrote, " You celebrate diversity - I see it in your interactions with our son, JT, in affirming that even though he experiences disabilities and is less able, he is not less worthy." And although I only had the opportunity of meeting Jay once, that "worthiness" was apparent.

How fortunate Jay has been to have you two for parents - and Kate and Amy for sisters.

And how fortunate the four of you to have had Jay.
