Dear Ann and Rud,

Though a bit of time has passed, I wanted to convey our thoughts and feelings of appreciation for the gifts that Jay brought to us in music therapy. He was a delightful teacher for all of us and his lessons were clear - He always shared them and himself with joy. Sometimes he was puzzled, I think at our limitations to understand, but in the end he " got it across." His life was a blessing in so many ways that it is impossible to know. It would have been wonderful to have had him with us longer, but angels often have a great deal of work to do. He was, and is, an angel to so many.

Thank you for sharing Jay with us - and for all your generosity and hospitality to music therapy students and professionals. Through your willingness to include  us in adventures of learning and development so many have gained so much. Through all those who have known you and Jay the legacy goes on and on and on. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
