I am a bit embarrassed to tell you that it was not until I saw the photo of Jay in the Journal-World that I even knew he was your son. During my time at the CRL, I had the good fortune of always having a decent office. My favorite for sure was a SPED faculty office in the old Dole Center. I knew your son during that time as the guy that would walk by my open office door daily, reach in and turn off my light switch! I credit Jay for the appreciation I gained for the common incandescent desk lamp – I learned to keep those terrible fluorescents off all the time. Jay knew they weren’t good for work, and, after a lot of training, I was in the know as well!
The only thing else I can think to say is thanks – thanks for all that you’ve done on Jay’s behalf and all those whose lives you’ve enriched and inspired over the years.
My thoughts, prayers, and best regards,
Brad
