My dearest friends and colleagues, there are no words that can describe the loss that you are both, as well as the many that Jay has touched are feeling. Yet I know that deep in your hearts you are remembering all the ways that Jay represents who you are today and why you have done so much for others. It is amazing to me to think about the gift of one individual can change so much about who we are. Somehow when you look at who are because of him you realize that so much of you only came alive because of him. Immediately we are grateful that we have been blessed with the gift of his life and for the opportunity of becoming better people because of him. So now Jay will be still another wing of strength for us along side our Lord. He brings with him to the Heavens all the wonderful things that he learned and taught many. He will be missed, but the beautiful stories that you will always tell, the stories that others will share about him, and his giving to others will be the way that he will live among us all forever.
